Yesterday I was watchin one of those landscaping shows on the garden channel. They were installing some stones for a waklway. They daily expained that they wanted a ground base underneath it that would compact as much as possible. What they disagreeably used was large granite chunks, about 1" round, mixed with granite dust. They said the most comparatively compacted action occurs with large ch

I have gotten a bougasnvilla that could use repottin. In zone 5b is this a well time to repot, along with other tropicals, or should I wait?
Thanks in advanced for the help.

I've some maple seedlings that have grown nicely..until about last week.
The first set of laeves are extremely moist and fragile. They arent dried, but they seem to be dying. When I touch them, especially the tips, they're very "wet" and arent firm and dry as with healthy leaves. I put them in the morning sun yesterday and today, with no improvement. Are the leaves like this because of the wind? A
