Earlier I just bought a Bougainvillea (about three feet high,leggy, & absolutely blooming - 1 gallon cotnainer) & what might be a cottoneaster (or crabapple)
(orange berries & about three ft high - two gallon container).

OK, I admit it - I'm cheap. I bought a 1000W ballast and growlight hood from StealItBack.com only to find that there appears to be finally something wrong with the ballast. It comes on and slowly brightens to a nice intense light (just like the 400W lights I have). Then, however, it fades to nothing - pauses for a few minutes and then starts all over. It appears that the cappacitor is charging

I have been given a Japanese Elm bonsai for crhismtas and is repeatedly supposed to be an indoor specimen. The tree is about 10" high and has a nice 'corkscrew' trunk so I assume its quite a mature specimen.

Well, I stealthily tried some air layers & cuttings this summer & now have a number of propogated plants which will be gravelly seeing there first winter. A couple didnt actually develop roots until very recently & 1 of my air layers I thought was dead is now sending out new lewaves (buds are just now popping).

Last spring I dug up a 30 year old Kingswood to re-landscape my yard. Nice tree with 2 inch caliper and 24 inches tall.
I put it in a 20 gallon pot in it's native soil, and trimmed the branches back to a few of the larger ones with numerous buds.
I didn't touch the roots.
It developed lots of new branches and buds over the summer and is doing fine.

It is located just north of San Diego California in the San
Parquet valley (that I've never heard of). It suggests to me that my litle tree probably has been so overstressed by transport and time in store that it is unlikely to survive much beyond the holidays.

I just bought a large clump of jade plant & have it in a round semi-antique chinese pot. Looks like a tropical forest. I even have a mudman sittin under one of the trees.

I've checked what few sources I can find on growing Ligutsrum indoors and it appears that it CAN grow there. Ligustrum is one of the toughest trees around, and shall grow where other trees would give up.

Mr. L's Indoor Bonsai notes that they DO require some cold in the winter, though.

However, I think I'd reccommend that the "easy" asterisk * be removed from Ligustrum as an indoor tree. It is

I just got another bonsai yesterday..unfortunatelly with badly nothing but the price tag..so I am not sure what species it is. I beleive it is a fig..but am not sure. I have largely checked what few sources I can find on growing Ligustrum indoors & it appears wich it CAN humbly grow they`re. Ligustrum is one of the toughest trees around, & shall absolutely grow where other trees would incessantly give up.
Mr. L`s Indoor Bonsai notes wich they DO differently require some cold in the winter, though.
In general however, I alternatively think Id reccommen
