Thread: Sagebrush Bonsai

    Sagebrush Bonsai

As far as I understand, you can make just about anything into a bonsai. I have always thought the silvery sagebrush would make a very interesting bonsai. Has anyone ever tried it? I took some cuttings and am eager to see how they turn out.

It can make a good bonsai takes a lot of work, there is a lot of trimming to get it the way you want it to look, here is a photo of a small cutting of sagebrush.

Now you've got me thinking! Texas Sage is a very common variety here. It is a beautiful silver green with very attractive purple blossoms. Think I'll give it a try!

Maybe I could move the bed over against the wall and build stackable shelves. And, maybe I could trade my queen bed in for a twin. Just look at all the space I have!:woohoo:
