Help - Bonsai lost all leaves on top

Hi, can someone help?

I have a bonsai tree. Its about 2 foot high.

It has lost all the leaves at the top of the tree

Leaves remain at the bottom.

What should i do?

What kind of tree do you have? Are you able to take a photo? If the answer to both is no as much detail as possible will be needed in order to help identify your tree and then what ails it. Hope this gets the ball rolling and good luck!
